Luckily the phone itself will still ask for it. As another related side note, if you want to see which installed apps have been granted permission to access contacts, Permission Manager shows it. Permission Manager (I have this installed but I don't see an APK there anymore.) Not sure why, but when I granted contact access to HeliBoard, it still didn't show up in the Contacts permission tab though.
