Let me get this straight. You postulate some complexity threshold, such that any phenomenon whose complexity lies above this threshold could not plausibly have arisen by itself. You claim life lies above this threshold. You realize that any prior agency that gave rise to life must also lie above this threshold. So you create some kind of exemption from this threshold for the prior agency, that you will not extend to life itself?
