Maybe you have a browser/chrome malware.

Chrome/ hamburger icon upper R/ Settings/ 3rd from bottom item Advanced/ 
opens to 6 items incl reset and cleanup or some such like restore 
settings to their original defaults

Also in that hamburger is More tools/ Extensions

You shouldn't have any extensions in there you don't trust.
