First I used chown to change the permission for xkill. Then I created a custom shortcut named xkill whose command was xkill. Then I double-clicked the xkill item in the Custom shortcut section and used my alt-k combo to populate that shortcut section. Then I started the Image viewer and used alt-k, an x appeared in the viewer's window and I clicked it and the viewer closed. -- Mike Easter
