You can equip self-driving cars with 100+ sensors, 10 LIDARs , supercompute= r to process data in real time but even 10 cameras don't provide you with wide range forward-looking side = views. So for self-driving technology to work we need satellite's cameras top view= of the road traffic in the region. Since such service has not been implemented or operated yet, driving self-d= riving car you always risk your life. Some years ago I have joined developers at Andersson to study, why his dron= es crashed so frequently and were not safe in remote operation. So you can turn your car into self-driving car if power steering control in= your car is supported via OBDII, for as low as $500, buying autopilot. But all the safety and safe driving risks are with yours.
