Ca y est j'ai trouvé ce paramètre qui n'existe que dans la version mise 
a jour de thunderbird
Après modification mes versions a jour remarchent.
Bravo donc a kalimbra pour une astuce que je ne risquais pas de trouver
par hasard :-)
