The combination of Clam anmd some other system, such as MalWareBytes, which also detects high 90s percentages of known malware, would mean that there is a very low chance of a false negative fromm both. As there isn’t that much Mac malware in the first place, the chance of an infection is extremely low. That’s not a scam, that’s just the nature of the system. Clam has a very low false positive rate.
