The ultimate cheap is all-ALDI peanut butter and jelly and bread. It's decent for the money, but I only eat Skippy or Peter Pan (crunchy), $3 a jar. Various jellies and jams $2 to $4 a jar (Smuckers, Welch, Publix mainly). Thin white bread from ALDI $0.50 loaf $7 total for probably 15 sandwiches, so maybe $0.50 each. It's important to get the right ratio of peanut butter to jelly to bread. Then you smash it flat with your hand before ingesting.
