But he was in the roll until 1981. JN-T's > first season was Tom Baker's last. For me 1970s also, although the opener of the current series with tennant and tate was brilliant. JP was my favorite, TB 2nd; sometimes seemed to be taking the piss. if they could redo the 1970s episodes with all the modern SX and CGI, they would be fantastic. I thought Capaldi was also very good, but the storylines wernt. mike
