Sure, I understand that a boat (as with a junker car on the lawn) can be an eyesore especially in this neighborhood, and that a mural might well be seen as an improvement. I just don't see how the often abused concept of "free speech" excludes one and not the other. (Btw, the "expression of an idea" is exactly what I've argued that free speech and anti-censorship should be based on, rather than providing an umbrella for aggressive acts that clearly have little to do with communication.)
