It seems to be a standard geofence automated action (based on location). I was thinking of setting it up for a very old relative, but it has one problem which is that the person being watched has to initiate the action. At least that's how I interpreted how the Apple checkin feature works. Is that correct? It doesn't work unless the person we care about initiates the process? So, either way, the person we're caring about has to initiate something a. Either when they leave place A to arrive at place B, or, b. When they arrive at place B (using the traditional "I'm home" text.
