Not YET. As such PVs are still best suited for 'off-grid' apps. Some large power companies though have installed HUGE farms of PVs - they boost the grid during the day when most power is being used. That means they don't need to build new conventional power plants which are gawdawfully expensive and over-regulated these days. Used THAT way, they don't NEED "storage".
