Sure they could also have more texture (Östmans recordings) — but they
are quite fine, and probably the best out of the hip/hybrid-approach… I
should probably recheck Gardiners Zauberflöte… his nozze and DG and cosi
are out of question because of gilfry (and possibly other reasons as
well)

So for nozze it’s Suitner and Östman it seems — I can’t get over Solti‘s
awful accompaniment (also I feel Ramsey just isn’t a good figaro - I
feel similarly about Siepi) and I’m not a big fan of Böhm’s
accompaniment in his late nozze as well (besides not being too sure
about Prey as Figaro and janowitz as the countess)

Haitinks glyndebourne nozze sucks — accompaniment and singers, I don’t
lie Fleming… and others it seems…
