I also gave a blackberry plant to the folks down the street.  When they 
returned the pot, as I requested, they also had taped to a a thank you 
card.  I guess they didn't get that I am probably more grateful to them, 
as my main hobby (cooking doesn't count) is proliferating blackberry 
plants.  I should email Michael Trew to see how his berry plant is doing.
