Only because of the ER game announcement.  It's some sort of boss rush 
(whatever that is) combined with roguelike and throwing bosses and NPCs 
from older souls games, and a limited set of characters to play, not 
make your own (boo.)  Also sounds like it's a more typical action game 
not souls/ER combat, that could be good or bad.  Possibly interesting to 
me a least, I far prefer making my own characters though.

Also saw an announcement for Outer Worlds 2 which looks fun.

There's a big hubub about Witcher 4 main character being female (Ciri.) 
I actually enjoyed W3 bit where you played Ciri the most, so sounds good 
to me.

So 3 new things to look forward to next year!  I'm guessing as this is 
the first I'm hearing of any of them, it'll probably be near end of year 
and may be delayed to 2026 though.

I've no idea who won any awards, I suppose I can look.  Game of the year 
is Astro Bot, which seems to be an exention of PS 5's demo...  Well the 
demo was pretty good for 5 minutes of play, maybe the full game is 
actully pretty good?  *shrug* I'll  have to look for PC game awards or 
something.

None of the indie games mentioned I have any interest in, perhaps 
Pacific Drive which you mentioned elsewhere, but I'm not fond of 
survival games.
