Trump increased tariffs on Chinese goods from about 5-8% to 20% in 2018.
Even at the "rolled-back" 30%, we're still paying more than we were.

The orange moron can't or won't understand what trade deficits mean.
Or, of course, he could be lying about it.  Always a possibility.
However, "The Chinese are taking advantage of us because we buy more of
their stuff than they buy of our stuff" sounds just like his zero-sum
worldview.
