Recently I've had to try to look back through the history of the bait
and switch scam that the ID perps at the Discovery Institute have been
running on the IDiotic creationist rubes since 2002. One thing that I
have had trouble finding historical information on is the bait and
switch that went down on the Florida rubes in 2009-2010. Like Louisiana
Florida had had the bait and switch run on them and they were trying to
pass switch scam legislation in 2008. The Discovery Institute supported
the switch scam legislative efforts. The Louisiana legislation passed,
but Florida dropped the ball and honesty an integrity in public
education prevailed and the switch scam stupidity failed in Florida.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-evolution_legislation

Wiki has a section on the 2008 fiasco. What is missing is what happened
the next year. In 2008 the Florida state board of education included
teaching biological evolution as part of the science standards. This
did not go well with the anti-evolution creationist factions. What I
recall is that legislation was put up that would require teaching
intelligent design whenever biological evolution was discussed. I
recall 9 Florida county school boards also wanted to include intelligent
design in their science classes. It seems tragically stupid for this to
happen after Kitzmiller, but the ID perps had put out their educators
briefing packet in 2007 where they told the creationist educators that
the judges decision was wrong, and that it was still legal to teach
intelligent design in the public schools outside of Dover PA. Florida
was taking the ID perps at their word even though they should have known
that the bait and switch had gone down on 100% of the creationist rubes
that had ever tried to teach ID.

Instead of supporting the legislation and school board activity the ID
perps sent a team down to Florida to lobby against the legislation and
inform the county school boards not to teach the ID scam, but to teach
the switch scam instead. It was the biggest most obvious bait and
switch event that I recall, but it doesn't seem to have gotten into any
histories on the subject. Usually the bait and switch only takes a
phone call to get the creationist rubes to backdown, but in the Florida
case they needed a team of ID perps on site to run the bait and switch
on all the county school boards and the legislators.

I can find evidence that the legislator did introduce the ID scam bill
in 2009, but that is about it.

This happened before the Louisiana creationists tried to use their
switch scam legislation to teach ID in 2010 and the ID perps had to run
the bait and switch on the Louisiana rubes again, and told them not to
do it, and that the switch scam had nothing to do with ID nor
creationism. The second bait and switch didn't phase the IDiotic
creationist rubes and they tried to use the switch scam legislation to
teach ID in their public schools in 2013, and had to have the bait and
switch run on them again. This should just tell any honest and
competent person just how corrupt and stupid the ID perp's bait and
switch scam has been, but it is all that the ID perps have been able to
do in order to try to implement their Wedge strategy to recreate a
theocracy that likely never existed in this country.
