This basically torpedoes Gavvy Newsom's 2035 ban on gas-powered vehicles. He's spittin' mad and is vowing to sue. I have no idea on what basis he plans to sue. “California has a right, alone among all the states, to be exempt from federal regulations.” Doesn’t sound like a winning case to me.
