In a nutshell, the first high you get from an opiod is a life-changing event that you desperately, desperately want to re-create BUT you inevitably fail to recapture it because subsequent highs are never as good. However, the opiods are so addictive that you'll suffer incredible withdrawal symptoms if you try to resist your next use of opiods, especially fentanyl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjO1qK2GAY8 [15 minutes] There are a LOT of comments below the video reinforcing the message in this video and a great many of them praised the video for being the best explanation they'd ever seen for why fentanyl is so seductive but also deadly. -- Rhino
