     After years of battling health issues both primary and secondary, Peter
David died last night (May 24, 2025).

     My first interaction with him was here on Usenet (might've been this
very group, might've been rec.arts.comics with no .misc, the transition was
underway at the time), in the summer of 1992.  He smacked me down for being
an ass, and he was right to do so.  We had many more, generally positive,
interactions on Usenet in the years to follow.

     May his memory be a blessing.
