Her characters were often similar, harried, put upon, easily intimidated, but she was funny as hell. I first paid attention to her on the brilliant The Powers That Be, a short-lived political sitcom from the early 90s that got cancelled without airing all produced episodes. She played the anorexic daughter. As I recall, she was playing 15 years younger. She didn't weigh anything and could get away with it. Pre-Frasier David Hyde Pierce was also in the cast and he too made an impression on me as the suicidal politician. This show had a fantastic cast and I'd love to see it again.
