Serious injuries? Yes, and I wouldn't want them. Immolation? No, not by 
definition. And your article, while related, is devoid of actual 
information about the seriousness of the burns.

I'd be happy with the following edit of your statement: "... whose front 
page did not cover the serious burn injuries of a few U.S. citizens ..."
