You can already buy a "hoverboard" ... but in reality it is just a 
Segway without the handlebar.

Of course, in the UK, hoverboards, Segways, scooters, etc. are all 
illegal to use on the road, the footpath, or in public spaces. That 
means the only place you can use it is on private property (with the 
owner's permission).
