Before Sabrina could twitch her finger and Zack Morris could call a timeout,
Out of This World let Evie Garland stop time with just a touch of her
fingers. This gloriously weird 1980s sitcom starred Maureen Flannigan as a
half-alien teen, Donna Pescow as her mom (fresh off Saturday Night Fever),
and a glowing plastic cube that talked with the voice of... Burt Reynolds.

Think Small Wonder was odd? Wait till you revisit the show that made Gen X
believe they could freeze time.

Chapters:
 00:00 Intro
 00:39 - The Premise
 02:54 - Network History
 03:46 - Cast Breakdown
 06:38 - Special Effects
 08:57 - Guest Stars
 10:23 - Memorable Episodes
 13:13 - The Theme Song
 14:44 - Forgotten Facts
15:32 - Where Are They Now?

Did you try the finger-touch time freeze after school? Be honest.

Which Evie moment lives rent-free in your brain? The cube? The double Evies?
That wild finale with Donna accidentally beaming herself to another planet??

[I remember this show but remember it being on TBS, who was experimenting
with original programming at the the time, and remember the reveal that Burt
Reynolds was voicing her father was a big deal at the time.]
