I'm afraid it's over optimistic. "He" has somehow convinced a huge 
portion of the population - plus a few congresspeople - that his 
simplistic thinking is wise. As we've seen here, they're not swayed by 
facts. They are not going away.

The effects of all this will persist for quite a while.
