Autocad and Solidworks are now so expensive to rent that it puts small businesses out of business or on to other products. These customers have older revisions. And often times they are on the latest OS and are pissed that their old stuff stopped working properly. Best solution is to run an older OS in a virtual machine with their old software loaded on it. I do this with Fedora 39 so I can run Wine 9.1 to get around all the accursed bugs Wine has added to their current versions.
