Apple announces the "26" versions for all of their operatings systems,
using the idiotic system of dating them to the year *after* release
(and still keeps the silly codenames for macOS).

As usual these days, mainly just useless, memory and processor hogging
gimmickry that nobody asked for, wanted, nor needed, and probably still
all the same ancient old bugs that they haven't bothered fixing. :-\

macOS 26 (Tahoe) will also be the last to work on any Intel Macs, for
little other reason than pushing people into buying new hardware.
