City Council ordinance allowing non-citizens to vote in DC city elections. 148 House Democrats voted against to allow non-citizens to cast ballots in our nation's capital. Only American citizens should decide the outcome of American elections. Yet the D.C. City Council (and now 148 Democrat members of Congress) have made it clear they actually want non-citizens and even foreign adversaries to have an equal say in choosing the mayor and other local public officials in the nation's capital. What should in any sane society have been a decisive and bipartisan vote to overturn the Council's idiotic resolution and reaffirm a basic principle of the democracy that Democrats are always worried is under threat-- to ensure only American citizens can vote in American elections-- instead turned into 148 Democrats voting to invite foreign influence in our elections, cancel out the legitimate votes of American citizens, and weaken the foundation of the democratic process. These people are no longer just wrong-- they're dangerous. Thankfully those 148 Democrats were outvoted by 210 Republicans and 56 of the more sane Democrats. Next up: the House votes to dismantle DC's sanctuary city laws. I 'memba when San Francisco allowed non-citizens to vote for local school board seats, and FPP reassured us-- using a lot of profanity and randomly capitalized words-- that this sort of thing would never happen, that the Democrats are not in favor of foreign nationals influencing our elections-- yet here we are having to beat back Democrat attempts to allow not just foreign nationals but illegal alien foreign nationals to cancel out the votes of American citizens and determine how things are run in America. I just don't understand what's happening here. I mean, FPP is never wrong about anything. After all, he told us so many, many times.
