Newer versions of Apple's operating systems have the silly "Live Text" 
'feature' that automatically tries to create normal text, links, phone 
numbers, etc. from words in images. It 'works' in many apps, but not 
all. Like any optical character recognition, it can be rather hopeless, 
especially on low-quality images, small font sizes, or blurry 
high-compression images. It is really just another useless Artifical 
Intelligence gimmick that does not work properly and is designed to 
make fools waste money on a newer, more powerful computer to get all 
the new toys.

Just ignore the rubbish and simply retype the text yourself. Even 
better, turn the nonsense gimmick off completely:
