No family with no previous history of buying smartphones buys the whole family a new phone. But, ok, in this absurd scenario yes you probably would need to buy a new charger for each phone. Now you have a charger you can use with your next purchases in 2, 3 or more years. The net result with future purchases is fewer chargers required. >> Again, ppl do >> have existing chargers some will even charge two or more <gasp> devices at >> once! > > Chris, > The fact you said "existing chargers" (which parrots Apple's lies) belies > that we paid a lot of money for that cheaply made iPhone 12 mini. > > To get the charging speeds we paid for, we'd need a 20 Watt PD charger. > Are you even aware of the facts about Apple chargers Chris? > I am. > > Apple has *never* in its entire history of selling iPhones, ever put a 20 > Watt PD charger in any iPhone box every sold in the entire world, Chris. So what? Any rating of charger will work. You don't *have to* charge at 20W, especially overnight. As luck would have it and like you I have bought an ipad which did come with a 20W charger so I can use that if I want. iphones also don't come with wireless chargers either. You should buy five of them as well given you've paid for that feature.
