There are other variations. E.g. build-everything-from-source, like 
Gentoo. Not quite build-from-source, but still geek-oriented, like Arch. 
Special-purpose ones, like SystemRescue, TAILS, Kali. SteamOS for gaming 
(interestingly, derived from Arch).
