But that’s not really a *nix system, is it? It is “Unix®”, but “Unix®” is 
just a trademark that Apple has licensed, it doesn’t make it work like 
people expect a *nix system to work.

I think people who are too accustomed to thinking like users of 
proprietary software cannot escape that mentality.
