I think it’s a fool’s errand to expect any sort of coherence when it comes to technology decision making at pretty much every organization these days. I do similar when dealing with my bank sometimes, but it is never my favorite way to handle it. I suspect it’s also counterproductive, because the retail staff have little incentive to make sure my online experience improves to the point I *won’t* have to stop in. -- "Also . . .
