Yep, he played the role in both of those Original Trilogy movies. He 
also voiced the same character in the animated parody "Lego Star Wars: 
The Empire Strikes Out".

Among many other roles, he also appeared in the UK medical soap/drama 
"Casualty" on three times, playing a different character on each 
occasion.
