This video includes an extended video clip of a speech by Daniel Johnson
criticizing Islam and the Islamists who emphasize the violent rhetoric
of the Koran and will not allow the religion to modernize.

Rant: I find YouTube channels made up of uncited video clips from
elsewhere tiresome. I cannot tell you how important the citation is.

When was this speech made? It does not say. However, the speaker
references an opinion piece which I found on line written March 21,
2013, so this speech took place perhaps a week later or so.

It puts what the speaker says into context because this was the height
of the use of violence to intimidate speakers whose views on Islam are
unapproved. We're talking about attempted murder here.

The speaker knew several such people at the time.

I think we've forgotten how bad this period was in the UK.

He also discusses an Islamic scholar who was head of a studies program
forced out and replaced with a far more doctrinaire Islamic scholar who
teaches the use of violence in Islam.

It made me laugh when he pointed out the willingness of Christianity to
change and evolve, what with the Church reversing the doctrine in which
all Jews were blamed as Christ killers starting in the 12th century
"within my lifetime". Hahahahaha. If we wait enough centuries, progress!
