Oh, I'm sure they are truly reconsidering how the event will be run in the future. This time around, the flyer with the instructions for the event said to come dressed in a manner expressing your nationality or family heritage, and didn't exclude white native-born British nationality and heritage. After reconsideration, I'm sure they'll conclude that where they went wrong was not making it clear from the start that the event doesn't include white people and/or British history or culture. Next year's flyer will be sure to make that explicit, with instructions to the white kids to just wear their normal school uniforms while everyone else dresses up.
