Paul: Sad to see that you, an elder EE, keep glued to whatever you
recollected in 30 years that support your
FAITH in relativity. You FAIL to accept that relativity is based on
PERCEPTIONS and UNPROVEN affirmations about what happens in a second
coordinate systems AS perceived from a first one, at relative rest.

Reason and logic are violated since the very beginning of the 1905 paper
and posterior endorsements. You are FORCED TO BELIEVE that what happens
in the moving frame, as PERCEIVED from the stationary one, is what
MATHEMATICS DICTATE.

Your blind faith in this pseudo-science has not physical background. It
only has a mathematical one. And this applies, also, to general
relativity.

Your error (IMO) is your lack of understanding of the human psychology
and the CONTEXT that existed at the time relativity started to gain
ground (early XX Century).

Let me resume this paradoxical context:

1) By 1900, development of macro-theories in physics was exhausted. No
visible future existed for the physics applied to what was believed was
the Universe, the physics of stars and the physics of the quantum world.


2) In 1899, Lord Kelvin sentenced that he envisioned the future of
physics as just adding more decimals to valued that were known.
Electromagnetism was just kicking off, and there were no predictions of
practical uses for voice and video. Just telegraphy. The newcomer, the
electron, was more of a curiosity than anything else and the concept of
the atom (for some believers) was that of a pudding with a positive blob
with electrons inserted into the blob. There was no concept of galaxies
or a huge universe around. Quantum mechanics was 15 years ahead, and the
know-how of how the Sun worked was ridiculously naive (Kelvin).

3) For any practical purpose, newtonian mechanics and thermodynamics
were in a dead end, and THIS was frustrating and boring for the new
generation of physicists.

4) Suddenly, the ADOPTION of E=mc2 opened the door for new brands of
physics and chemistry, which facilitated fantasizing about how stars
worked, how atoms-ions-molecules worked and FACILITATED that chemistry
graduated as a hard science (around 1915), instead of a branch of
alchemy. This ADOPTION, IMO, is what made relativity so popular (find
out about Eddington, Schrödinger, Dirac, Born and many others).

5) The non-linear mathematical structure of GR, either in the especial
solution of 1915 and further developments, SUDDENLY opened a door to
explore such mathematical complexity in MANY ways. A pioneer on this NEW
approach (for a science thirsty of new theories) was Aleksander
Friedmann (1922), who developed
one of the first cosmological solutions of GR which, married to the
discovery of many. Many galaxies (Mount Wilson) gave life to generations
of cosmologists, who then had equations TO PLAY about the universe
composition and behavior. Add to this the findings of Hubble and the
proposals of Le Maitre, and more TOYS to play with appeared for the new
kids in physics. Not to forget Schwarzschild's solution to a special
case of GR.

6)Add to the above, in the next 30 years, of the invention of the
synchrotron and different cloud chambers, and the scenario to PLAY with
cosmology, physics of stars and the quantum world was set to have fun
for the first 60 years of the XX Century. But THIS CONTEXT dried also,
what forced TO INVENT more and more theories, exploring both ends of
physics (black holes, gravitational waves, BB theories, models of the
quantum world like the SMEP, etc.). But, since mid '70s, all these
fields stagnated.

7)As of today, and particularly for the last 30 years, physics IS
RELYING ONLY on computerized models. No human is able to write and
manage the extremely equations that SHOULD SUPPORT the building of
physics. Instead, linearization of GR equations, statistical physics and
GRAPHICAL parametrized solutions are the only tools available.

As a PATENT PROOF of what I wrote above, the "detection" of
GravitationalWaves is based on about 300,000 different GRAPHICAL
solutions of the linearized GR equations, which are compared in
supercomputers to what LIGO like giga-instrument CAPTURE (which are
motions in the order of 10E-18 meters). Tell me THAT THIS IS NOT A JOKE.


Finally, IF you are enlightened to see the truth (by being more
knowledgeable about history of physics, social contexts and human
behavior, applied to more than a century), MAYBE you'll understand WHY
the falsehood of relativity caught up slowly but firmly.

BECAUSE PHYSICISTS WERE CLOSE TO NOT TO HAVE A JUICY JOB within the
physics foreseeable in the first decade of XX Century.

Paul, please, learn more and think more. Abandon fossilized knowledge,
which is affecting your brain. Open up your mind. It's not late for you,
and even you might enjoy new perspectives.

Relativity and related theories ARE DEAD. Technology is, today, the NEW
PHYSICS. Dig it.
