Although the word "doubt" is not strong enough. Personally I laughed, and I said that the experimenter had necessarily been wrong. It was for me as obvious as: "We have found a whole natural number that is between 9 and 10", or "we have finally found a natural square that is equal to the sum of two other squares". It was physically stupid, but it was sad to cry (and it remains so), it shows that physicists have not understood SR correctly. They would never have said such bullshit. Even today, many spit on me (why not) but once in their WC-toilet, they imagine that we will soon discover tachyons. It's stupid. The clowns are them, not me. R.H.
