Geeknix takes the lead in number of games claimed!

MikeS; Ant: you're not going to let this slide, are you? Your
championships are now in question! ;-)

It obviously won't surprise any of you, but I'm in favor of Geeknix's
approach. Not only because of <<<>>>THE NUMBER<<<>>> (which is a
useful and fun fiction) but because I'm a strong believer in just
trying out new games. It's why I'm so ready to grab a freebie. Sure,
most of them I won't end up playing* but I'll often download them and
at least give them a look.

A lot of times, the games match my expectations, which is to say,
yeah, they're just as bad as I thought they might be. But more than a
few times I've been pleasantly surprised.

Which is why it often baffles me when people just don't take free
games. Not that I think they're wrong per se, but the underlying logic
runs counter to my internal processes. It's free! Give it a try! What
do you have to lose?

* at least, not as I define playing, which is to actually stick with a
game. Installing, running, and leaving a game twenty minutes later
doesn't qualify as "playing" for me ;-)
