engendered by the commanding, high-up, driving position from which you
may look down your nose at the lesser mortals in their puny little cars.

Regrettably, many of the yummy mummies on the school run must either 
sit on a cushion or peer through the steering wheel to see where they're
going (as if that mattered much).
