on a legitimate archaeological discovery . . . could the "reply-to-self"
be purposeful by the op (many newsgroup contributors post self-replies
as post-scripts to previous articles), or perhaps accidental? the story
itself is interesting, so at least this does not seem very "abusive" as
compared with say google thai spam, political-religious flooding, troll
farm obfuscation, ad nauseam, all so common to many hundreds of active
