In a kind of Advent calendar, Gerald Wodni is putting th videos from
EuroForth 2024 online one by one, starting today, in the EuroForth
2024 playlist:
<https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR1LOfn4ZiNcxvWgG7WvlLbc_O6zDm4hY>
I don't think you will get a new video every day, because there have
not been 24 presentations at EuroForth 2024 (the playlist currently
contains 10 entries).
Thanks go to Gerald Wodni for organizing the recording during the
conference, and for preparing the videos afterwards.
The first video happens to be one of my talks: How to Implement Words
(Efficiently). The corresponding paper is
http://www.euroforth.org/ef24/papers/ertl.pdf
(close to its final version), but my presentation has the advantage
that I selected 5 out of the 10 microbenchmarks that I present in the
paper, based on questions that you might ask yourself (and the
questions are the title of the corresponding slide). The slides are:
http://www.euroforth.org/ef24/papers/ertl-slides.pdf
but they are meant to go with the audio track, and with the use of a
pointer. You can find the microbenchmarks used in the work on
http://www.euroforth.org/ef24/papers/ertl.fs
You can find more videos from earlier EuroForth and Forth-Tagung
meetings in the channel @4ther-tv:

I find the playlists in that channel most useful:
