I hope all the "No Kings" signs are pointed in the direction of
Congress, who has largely abdicated its responsibility to govern,
choosing instead to amplify talking points and generally fellate
Captain Catheter.
We got here because Americans got tired of nothing getting fixed.
Nothing got fixed because our two parties are both deadlocked in a race
for incompetence. Oh, and they're totally bought, each of them, by
competing corporate interests.
Lastly we got here because Americans decided you can handle a democracy
using the same techniques you use when shopping for consumer goods,
apparently the only thing this country is really any good at.
I'm starting to think this presidency was inevitable.
