But it isn't an "Honest Mistake". You KNOW that words have more than one 
meaning, and thus you can not claim someone is wrong when they use a 
word differently than you,

Thus, it fits even your definition of telling a lie, as you know your 
position is inaccurate.

Note, even YOUR definition of lie says that a statement that is just 
partially wrong is a lie, as it is inaccurate.
