"Blaisdell" is a name fondly remembered in Hawaii. There's a concert hall/arena named after him. Perhaps he's kinfolk of yours. There used to be barracudas swimming in the pools around the exhibition hall. I guess someone thought it would be funny to put some in the water. There were quite a few there.
