Stations in Canada send a signal report and their Canadian province or territory. VE0s and stations outside Canada send a signal report and a serial number. Contacts with stations in Canada or VE0 (Canadian maritime mobile stations) are worth 10 points, contacts with stations outside Canada are worth 2 points, and contacts with RAC official stations are worth 20 points. [https://surgestop.com/filter-products/index.html] Bulletins Changes to CQ World Wide VHF Contest Rules for 2025 The 2025 CQ World Wide VHF contest has been split into two dedicated weekends- one weekend for analog (SSB/CW/FM) operation and one for digital operation. The analog weekend begins at 1200 UTC on Saturday, July 5 and concludes at 1200 UTC on Sunday, July 6. The digital weekend begins at 1200 UTC on Saturday, July 19 and concludes at 1200 Sunday, July 20. Note that the start and end times of the contest have changed from previous years. Other new rule changes include the addition of new low power categories (100 watts maximum) for Single Operator All Band and Single Operator Single Band participants. Additionally, Single Band categories have been added for QRP participants. All participants are now able to use spotting assistance with the rules aligning with what is allowed in ARRL VHF contests. For those using computer logging programs, the N1MM Logger +, N3FJP VHF Contest Log, W3KM VHF LOG, and CTESTWIN by JI1AQY logging software have been updated with the 2025 rule changes. Highlights include a test range for 144 MHz through 24 GHz antenna measurements, a noise figure measurement lab for preamps and transverters, a "Rover Row" display of VHF rover stations and a "Microwave Dish Row" display.
