That's really low.  Apparently dry air is somewhat bad for humans as 
well*, optimal is between 30-50%.

*It can aggravate allergies & asthma, and cause itchy eyes, nose, 
throat, and skin.

I really ought to check the humidity here too, though I don't have issue 
with static.
