As usual, Wozniak is conflating two different
concepts.  Humans try to model nature, and
since, for example, trees grow, die and decay,
there is something in nature that changes.  We
call that something the passage of time.
Clocks and coordinates and theories are ways
that we model time.  But they aren't time,
just as the map is not the territory.
