So far I have an associate's in business, but I'm wanting to work for the EPA or a similar job.

I was thinking EPA since it's a government job and would allow me to transfer my years towards retirement ( I think)

Is it okay if there's a gap in between?

I'm not sure what I want to get into specifically. I know that I want to help bring positive changes with how we treat our environment. I think more towards pollution abatement.

What degree do you think would help me most next?

Being honest, I don't think I'm dumb, but I'm not particularly good at anything. I'm okay at a lot of stuff. Im not a scientist or anything.

I do better when I can read things, to understand how they work. For example, if I'm fixing something, I prefer to have a manual around to figure out how to fix it.. or do trial and error until I find the right solution. I'm not the best with right deadlines. I'll do things right, but I'm slow at doing them. I'm great at breaking things down for people.

So now that you know a little about me..

What do you think would be a good fit for me in this field?

Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
