Patience. Eventually, I won't be able to prepare the firewood or carry it up the stairs. When that happens, I'll probably need some help from a lift, conveyor belt or rope tow. The design will follow whatever I'm not able to do (climb stairs, lift weights, handle a chainsaw, carry groceries, etc). If I design something today, it might not be adequate for whatever I'm dealing with in a few years. No need to hurry. Also, I suspect that if I build a lift today, the neighborhood kids will turn it into an amusement park ride. One more day of splitting, plus one more day to clean up the mess, and I'll be done with this year's firewood. -- Jeff Liebermann jeffl@cruzio.com PO Box 272 http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Ben Lomond CA 95005-0272 Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558
